Constructed in 1877, this building was once home to J.K. Keller & Son, a thriving little dry goods store in the heart of town. Today's general store offers a wide variety of grocery items and everyday staples such as sugar, flour, milk, butter, local eggs, cheese, orange juice, breads, canned vegetables, soups, and commonly used household products. The shelves are stocked with locally sourced jams, salad dressings, coffees, tea, pure maple syrup, local honey, popcorn, and an array of BBQ sauces.

Part of the fun of shopping at Elsah General Store is discovering 50 flavors of glass bottled soda, old fashion stick candy, ice cream novelties and frozen custard treats. Shoppers will also enjoy a selection of greeting cards, books, gifts, and collectibles.
